Clare au Canada - Quebec Journal
QUEBEC
Quebec City
I’m right now staring at a photograph (Got my pictures developed) of a wall of one of the gates in Vieux Quebec. It had gray stones and red stones, and a little bit of a blue roof if you know what I mean.

We went to a soldier exhibit in the Artillery Museum and I saw a miniature model of old Quebec. We saw an exhibit of the old days when there soldiers at war. Here’s what my pamphlet says:Artillery park was the first military quarters built in Quebec. In the 18th century was a site of major strategic importance. The barracks were first occupied by French troops and then by British garrisons until 1871, when the quarters were transformed into a munitions factory.
We went to a mall called Place Laurier and my mother bought a beautiful tapestry from a linen shop, with flowers, and a bench. Oh yeah, p.s. it had gold tassels.
Here’s my poem:
My mother went to a mall,
and bought a tapestry, that’s all.
I watched French t.v. Every channel was French.
My experience of Quebec is this.
“Deux mots. “Ma Gique”.
