Cole P. au Canada - Journal 2

The train stopped and I got off. I was in Southern Alberta in a place called The Badlands. I like that name! The badlands are the hot, dry, sandy rocky lands of Alberta. The Badlands were made 70,000,000 years ago from great rivers, glaciers and winds. The big tall rocks are called Hoodoos. I did lots of walking through the trails. The Badlands also have lots of fossils. It is the largest Dinosaur find in the world. The Dinosaur Provinical Park is in the middle of the badlands. They have dinosaur fossils from 75,000,000 years ago. I went and searched for dinosaur fossils but I only found one small fossil. I learned there is lots of history in the Alberta Badlands.
I had fun in Alberta. Now I packing for my next adventure.
