Cole P. au Canada - Journal 3







I arrived to the Great Bear lake by float plane. The Great Bear lake is the largest lake completely in Cananda. It is the 8th largest lake in the world. I went fishing for trout. I caught the king of the lake.
Then I went to Rae. The Dogrib people live here. They are the original people of the
land. They are Caribou hunters.
Now I am exploring Yellowknife where there are pretty northern lights. In the winter there are ice roads. The ice is 4 feet thick. Trucks go very slow because it is dangerous. Trucks have fallen through the ice. Here is a picture of one.
